NoSCoS – The Nordic Spinal Cord Society – is an association of professionals in the Nordic countries with special interest in rehabilitation after injuries and diseases of the spinal cord as well as the management of conditions and consequences related to them.

Combined meeting 2025 in Sweden
The 64th International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS) Annual Scientific Meeting, combined with the 19th Nordic Spinal Cord Society (NoSCoS) Biennial Scientific Meeting, was a success!
Held in Gothenburg, the conference brought together a record-breaking audience of over 1,100 participants from around the world. With 38% of attendees coming from the Nordic countries, the meeting reflected both strong regional engagement and a truly international spirit.
Over several inspiring days, delegates exchanged research findings, shared clinical experiences, forged new collaborations, and enjoyed memorable social events. Who knew ABBA was going to turn up?!
The success of this year’s meeting highlights the importance of international collaboration in advancing knowledge and improving outcomes for people with spinal cord injuries. A sincere thank you to all speakers, participants, and organizers who made this exceptional event possible – thank you for the science!
